FAQ
What is hydroponics?
Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil, using a nutrient-rich water solution to deliver essential minerals directly to the plant roots. This method allows for faster growth, higher yields, and cleaner produce.
Hydroponics vs. soil-grown produce: What’s the difference?
Hydroponic produce is grown in a controlled environment using water-based nutrients, resulting in cleaner, fresher, and more consistent crops. Unlike soil-grown produce, hydroponic plants do not require pesticides, reducing chemical exposure while conserving water.
Why do we grow using hydroponics?
We use hydroponics because it is a more sustainable and efficient way to grow fresh, high-quality produce. It requires less water than traditional farming, eliminates the need for chemical pesticides, and ensures that our customers receive fresh, locally grown greens year-round.

Our produce is harvested fresh every week and delivered directly to our customers, ensuring maximum freshness and shelf life.
Do you use any pesticides or chemicals?
We DO NOT use any harsh pesticides or chemicals. Unlike most producers that export produce and rely on chemical treatments to extend shelf life during shipping, we grow locally in a controlled environment, reducing the need for such additives. Our hydroponic system naturally minimizes pest risks, but to ensure our plants remain healthy, we use steam treatments to eliminate any unwanted bugs. Additionally, we apply neem oil, a natural pesticide derived from neem seeds, around the plant environment—providing effective protection while keeping our produce clean, fresh, and chemical-free.
