Our Story
TCH was founded in late 2022 and officially launched in late 2024. What started as a passion project, driven by a love for growing plants, quickly evolved into a mission to bring fresher, healthier food to the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Today, TCH specializes in cultivating premium hydroponic produce, offering a variety of lettuce and herbs, including romaine, green leaf, basil, mint, chives, and more. We take pride in growing our produce without harmful pesticides, ensuring a cleaner, more natural product for our customers.
Our commitment to sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Unlike imported produce, which is often treated with chemicals to withstand long shipping times, our crops are harvested weekly and delivered fresh—ensuring maximum flavor, nutrition, and quality.
After years of witnessing the scarcity of fresh, locally grown produce and the community’s heavy reliance on imports, we saw the need for a healthier, sustainable solution. TCH was created to fill this gap, providing high-quality, island-grown produce at competitive prices, reducing our dependence on imports, and taking a step toward food security for Turks and Caicos.

Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is simple: to provide access to fresh, high-quality produce throughout Turks and Caicos while reducing our reliance on imports. We believe that food should be fresh, clean, and grown with care—not treated with chemicals for long-haul shipping.
Our vision is to expand TCH into the largest producer and supplier of hydroponic produce in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Over the next few years, we plan to scale production, introduce new crops, and continue innovating to bring the freshest and most sustainable food options to the community.

Why Hydroponics?
We chose hydroponics over traditional farming because of its efficiency, sustainability, and ability to grow in a controlled environment. Unlike traditional farming, which relies on large amounts of land and water and is heavily affected by climate conditions, hydroponics allows us to:
✅ Use 90% less water than soil-based farming
✅ Grow faster and harvest more frequently
✅ Avoid pesticides by controlling the growing environment
✅ Reduce carbon footprint by eliminating the need for long-distance shipping
At TCH, we use the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system, a hydroponic method that ensures maximum plant nutrition and growth efficiency. We are the only farm in Turks and Caicos using this system at scale, allowing us to grow fresher, healthier produce year-round.

Our Commitment to Quality
We ensure the highest quality by harvesting same-day or next-day for all our customers. Unlike most imported produce, which can spend weeks in transit and be treated with chemicals to extend shelf life, our produce is delivered fresh, pesticide-free, and full of flavor—the way food should be.

The Future of TCH
As a small but growing company, TCH is currently operated by owner Tevin, along with a part-time assistant. Due to our efficient hydroponic setup, the farm requires only one full workday and about an hour per day for upkeep—allowing us to maintain high-quality standards with a lean operation.
Over the next 3-5 years, we plan to:
🌱 Expand our greenhouse and increase production capacity by 300%
🌱 Build a storage, seedling, and processing area to streamline operation
🌱 Introduce 5 new produce varieties after testing
🌱 Launch custom edible garden setups for clients interested in growing their own food
We believe that fresh food is the foundation of good health, and we are proud to be part of a movement that prioritizes quality, sustainability, and community well-being.
TCH is more than just a farm—it’s a step toward a more self-sufficient and healthier future for Turks and Caicos.
